  Excursion starts in the old part of the city, The Old City, Baku’s medieval core, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site surrounded by 12th-century walls and brimming with Oriental architecture and history. Within the atmospheric walls, you’ll find a maze of narrow alleys home to a few thousand residents as well as museums, monuments, art galleries, all sorts of eateries and much more. The place is like a living open-air museum.

   

  Excursion continues with the trip to modern Baku. The tour covers the central part of the city accenting mainly on historical and architectural sites of interest.

   

  Baku Boulevard is a promenade established in 1909 which runs parallel to Baku’s seafront. Its history goes back more than 100 years, to a time when Baku oil barons built their mansions along the Caspian shore and when the seafront was artificially built up inch by inch. Baku Ferris

  Highland Park Baku is a popular attraction located in the capital of Azerbaijan. From its highest point, visitors can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and bay. Both locals and tourists come to the park to appreciate the view, take a stroll, or simply relax. Name Highland Park received due to its location.

  • Visit to Highland Park-Alley of Martyrs, The National Assembly- also transliterated as Milli Majlis, Flame towers- the tallest skyscraper in Baku.
  • Later you will visit Baku Crystal Hall – an indoor arena in Baku, Azerbaijan. Located on the coast of Baku near National Flag Square, construction of the arena began in August 2011 and finished in April 2012—in time for it to host its first major event, the 2012 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest
  • Walking through Baku Boulevard which stretches along a south-facing bay on the Caspian Sea. It traditionally starts at Freedom Square continuing west to the Old City and beyond. Since 2012, the Yeni Bulvar (New Boulevard) has virtually doubled the length to 3.75 km

Nohur Lake -It is located in Qabala, another region of Azerbaijan that one passes when travelling to Sheki. Lake is not on the way but if you go a bit deeper towards the mountains this beautiful view opens up in front of you

Yeddi Gozel (Seven beauties) waterfalls in Gabala, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Gabala, are located 6 kilometers from Vandam village and 3 km from the main track over Puskan. Here, water from various ravines forms a seven-step waterfall. Only two small waterfalls are visible below. To look at the other five waterfalls, you have to climb up the stairs, which requires some physical strength. However, those who are going through this difficult path await a mysterious panorama. There is also a restaurant and a tea house. The waterfall is always dark and cool because it is located in a dense forest that is not affected by the sun’s rays

  Proceed to Tour with Ateshgah (Fire Worshippers Temple) Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship.  “Atash» is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex , which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries.

   

  Trip to “Fire Mountain “-“Yanardag” -a mountain on Absheron peninsula , 25 km from north of Baku.Literally, word “Yanardag” means “Blazing mountain”. Blazing bodies of flame dance on stones and floor.  Yanar dag is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, which itself is known as the “land of fire.”

   

  Excursion (69 km x 2) to Mud Volcanoes (Azerbaijan is home to the world’s greatest concentration of mud volcanoes), Gobustan National Preserve (ancient rock art and UNESCO’s World Heritage, uncover an astonishing collection of over 6,000 ancient petroglyphs charting ways of life dating back tens of thousands of years), Gobustan Interactive Museum, Bibi-Heybat Mosque overlooking gas and oil fields
